How to find the area of rectangle and parallelograms
You want to find area then read this instructions. If you want to find the area of rectangle or square then do this. First, find the base and height of the rectangle or square then multiply base and hieght then you have to put the cm2 then you will have the area of the rectangle.
This one is for how to find area of parallelograms. First, draw a shape on the grid paper then add the squares(1square=1cm) then they will be some space of squares left then try put those spaces together with other spaces then you will have the area of parallelograms.

The Perimaeter Question
It was easy. The answer is 6.9cm because on this question you ahve to do minus and plus. First, I changed the mm to cm then I add the two sides then it will be 9.1 right? Then do 16cm take away 9.1cm then it will be 6.9cm right? Then here is the answer, 6.9cm.

The Math Question
I prefer Domenico's way because it is more easier. And if I add up the lenght together first it will be 32m right? Then what you want to do is take away from the whole perimeter by 32m. Then divide that number by two then you will have the answer.

What have you learned about finding the preimeter of polygons?
I have learned that the preimeter of polygons are the length and thewide were different and the some of them the wide part or the length had the same m or cm or km or mm and some fo them had the same length and wide.I also learned that the polygons were like triangles.

My journal
I think I did kind of bad in patterning unit because it was hard to find the rule and I had to decribe the pattern how it keeps turning into different shapes. And I think I got bad on the test mark becasue I didn't know the rule for the qustion so.
